ISLAMABAD: Government is mulling to impose five percent withholding tax on domestic flights along with existing taxes in next budget.
Travel agents sources said government is considering imposition of five percent withholding tax that on domestic flights in next fiscal year? "S budget. After imposition of withholding tax, customers will have to pay Rs.1, 000 extra ticket on Rs.20, 000.
Currently, government is collecting 16 percent sales tax, airport tax and five percent tax on domestic flights travel Rs.240.
