U.S. stocks hold gains after-consumer data

NEW YORK: The U.S. stock gains on Tuesday after-Held an industry group said consumer confidence rose in March, above a forecast of Economists polled by Reuters.

The Conference Board said consumer Attitudes of STI index rose to 52.5 in March from an Upwardly revised 46.4 in February, and above the 50 estimate. The Dow Jones industrial average Gained 34.23 points, or 0.31 PERCENT, to 10930.09. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 3.76 points, or 0.32 Percent, to 1176.98. The Nasdaq Composite Index added 10.92 points, or 0.45 Percent, to 2415.28. reuters
